How was that? Are you having a good time? Do you have questions? Let me know!
Six Science-Approved Ways to Work With Your Birth, Not Against It!
Let labor start on its own whenever possible—it’s your body’s way of saying, “We’re ready!” In most pregnancies, your baby, your uterus, your hormones, and your placenta all team up and hit the “go” button at just the right moment. When that happens naturally, labor usually goes smoother, and both you and your baby come out happier and healthier. Every extra day in those final weeks is like bonus time for your baby to grow and for your body to get ready.
If labor is jump-started with induction, it turns into a medical event and works a bit differently than nature intended. Unless there’s a health reason, waiting it out can be the best call. Even if you’re past your due date and itching to meet your little one, remember—nature usually knows best.

And if induction is necessary, don’t worry—you can still do plenty to keep things as natural as possible.

Safety is not just a feeling.
It’s a Necessary condition for good labor!
Feeling safe—physically, emotionally, and psychologically—allows the birthing person to relax, trust their body, and focus on labor. Anxiety or fear can trigger stress hormones, which can slow labor, increase pain, or complicate birth. Safety isn’t just about avoiding harm; it’s about enabling the body and mind to do their job.
