Donna Meridith
Postpartum Doula, Educator & Former La Leche League Leader
Donna Meridith is a trained birth & postpartum doula with a long history of volunteering in the community. She founded her local La Leche League group in 1982 before continuing her passion into doula work.
Donna is a champion for breastfeeding families but also understands that not all families choose that route. She is able to patiently and kindly cheer families on with the choices that best meet their needs. Donna is a wealth of informational support for families both before and after delivery. Having trained in an outreach program, she understands the importance of active listening and engagement, and truly has a servant’s heart. She is non judgmental and proficient in newborn care, appearance, calming, bonding, feeding and sleeping. She prides herself in allowing women to discover their personal journey while offering support and guidance along the way.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband Van, gardening and their weekly Meals on Wheels route that they have worked as volunteers for the last 15 years. Donna is a dedicated student of Yogi and Mindfulness.
